What stays in your browser

Maps, 3D terrain, ore veins and structure positions are calculated in your browser. Seeds you save with Save seed are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.

What reaches our server

• Seed pages. Opening a seed page (/seed/<seed>/) requests that page from our server, like any web page. When a seed page has no stored summary yet, your browser sends the seed, the version and the computed summary (spawn, nearby structures, biomes) so the page can show it to the next visitor. No personal data is attached.
• Seed library. When you share a seed, likes or report one, we store what you sent together with a one-way hash of your IP address, made with a secret key. The hash only serves to limit spam and duplicate likes; it cannot be turned back into your address. Hashes in the rate-limit log are deleted after a day.

Other services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver the pages. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which can see your IP address when the files are requested. Everything else, including the 3D engine, is served from this site. There are no ads and no tracking cookies.
