Minecraft Bedrock Seeds with a Village at Spawn
We tested 3,600 Bedrock seeds, and 105 of them place a village within 150 blocks of spawn. The nearest is only 11 blocks away and the average is 51. The top seed starts you in a taiga, so you have spruce wood and a village together.

Settling a taiga village on Bedrock
Taiga villages use spruce planks and cobblestone, with sweet berry bushes and foxes nearby. The cold look suits cosy builds with dark wood and lanterns. Walk the main path and note which houses have beds, chests and workstations.
- Food: farms with wheat, potatoes and carrots sit near the well.
- Berries: sweet berry bushes give food but prick you, so walk around them.
- Workstations: smokers, blast furnaces and grindstones help you shape new trades.
Cats may appear in a village, and you can tame them with fish. A zombie siege can occasionally hit at night, so light the roofs and doorways.
Bedrock also supports Marketplace add-ons, though the seed itself works without them.
Trading and expanding on a phone, console or PC
Bedrock runs on phones, consoles and PC, so a village near spawn is a gift when controls are limited. Trade for iron tools and armor early, then expand your farm with bonemeal.
Use the village beds to set spawn. Place a few chests for sorting. If you want more villagers, breed them with bread, carrots or potatoes in a protected room. A bell lets you gather them quickly if a raid starts.
- Fence the farms to keep out mobs.
- Trade for enchanted books and a bow.
- Build a stair path to the nearest hills for lookouts.
With a base this close to spawn, you can focus on exploring the nearby spruce hills.

FAQ
Are Bedrock villages different from Java ones?
They share the same styles, but their layouts and positions differ because the generation code is not the same.
What do taiga villages look like?
They use spruce planks, cobblestone and hay bales, with smaller houses and lots of lanterns.
Can I trade right after spawning?
Yes, if you find a villager with a profession. Unemployed ones need a workstation first.
How do I protect the village at night?
Light roofs and paths with torches and keep doors closed, so zombies cannot slip in.
