Bedrock Edition 1.21.50, The Garden Awakens, was released on December 3, 2024, the same day as Java 1.21.4. It added the eerie pale garden biome. This Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50 seed map shows your world with that generator. Enter your seed to find pale gardens, creaking hearts and every Bedrock structure around spawn.
The Pale Garden on Bedrock
The pale garden is a variant of the dark forest. Pale oak trees replace dark oaks, and the grass, sky and water all turn greyish. There is no background music, and animals do not spawn naturally.
Several new blocks generate there:
- Pale moss blocks and carpets, plus pale moss patches mixed with other plants
- Pale hanging moss under the pale oak leaves
- Eyeblossoms, which open at night and close by day
- Creaking hearts, enclosed by pale oak logs inside some trees
An active creaking heart spawns a creaking at night. It freezes when you look at it, so keep your eyes on it.
Other Bedrock Generation Tweaks
This version also made some quieter changes. All trees can now grow through leaves, except cherry trees, which cannot grow through their own leaves. Trees can also grow on any dirt-like block. Tall grass in lush caves now generates with its top half in place. In addition, a trial chamber chest that was missing a loot table now has one.
Seeds Before and After Bedrock 1.21.50
Compared with Bedrock 1.21 to 1.21.4x, the main difference is the pale garden. It takes some land that would otherwise be dark forest.
Moving to 1.21.60, pale gardens become larger and more common, and woodland mansions can generate inside them. Canyons also change. So your pale garden may grow on the next map.
Against Java 1.21.4, terrain and biomes match for the same seed. Pale gardens appear in the same places on both editions. Structures, however, follow Bedrock's own placement rules.
Checking Your Version and Using the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50 Seed Map
Open Settings from the main menu. The version number appears near the bottom of the screen. Then use the map:
- Turn on biome colors and scan dark forests for grey patches.
- Visit at night to see eyeblossoms open and creakings roam.
- Break creaking hearts for resin clumps, which craft into resin bricks.
- Share pale garden coordinates with Java 1.21.4 friends. The biome lines up across editions.
Pale Garden or Dark Forest?
The two biomes look related, but they play very differently:
- Trees: dark forests grow dark oaks and huge mushrooms, while pale gardens grow pale oaks hung with moss.
- Mobs: animals spawn in dark forests, but not in pale gardens. At night, pale gardens spawn creakings instead.
- Sound: pale gardens have no music at all.
- Flowers: eyeblossoms only grow in pale gardens. Open ones craft into orange dye, closed ones into gray dye.
So if you want a spooky build site, choose the pale garden. If you want a safer base, stick with the dark forest.
Either way, the map shows both biomes clearly with biome colors on.
