Bedrock Edition 26.40 sits between the Chaos Cubed drop (26.30) and Wilderness Bound (26.50). This Minecraft Bedrock 26.40 seed map uses the 26.40 world generator, including the dappled forest that 26.40 brought to Bedrock. Enter your seed to explore biomes and structures for a world made in this version.
World generation in Bedrock 26.40
26.40 adds the dappled forest, the autumn biome with poplar trees, to the Bedrock generator. Abandoned camps use an early placement rule in this version, which 26.50 changed, so camps in a 26.40 world can be in other places than in a 26.50 world.
Sulfur caves from 26.30 are part of normal generation.
Which version should I pick?
Pick the version your world was created in. Chunks you already explored keep their old look after an update, while new chunks use the newer generator. If you made the world in 26.40, this page matches the chunks from that time.
FAQ
Is 26.40 the same as 26.50?
No. Wilderness Bound (26.50) changed where abandoned camps generate, so pick the version your world was made in.
Does a 26.40 seed match Java?
Terrain and biomes match Java for the same seed. Structures use Bedrock's own placement.
