A ravine is a long, deep crack in the ground. Its walls show stone, ores and cave openings without any digging, so it is a fast way to find iron, coal and copper in the first days of a world. This Minecraft ravine finder marks where each ravine starts in your Bedrock seed.
How to use the ravine finder
- Enter your seed and pick your Bedrock version.

How ravines generate on Bedrock
Every chunk has a fixed chance to start a ravine: 1 in 100 from Bedrock 1.21.60, and 1 in 150 before it. The ravine then runs for many blocks in one direction from that point, so the marker shows where it starts, not its whole length. Some ravines are giant, and some form under the ocean.
Ravines and ores
Since 1.18, iron and copper are common in the middle heights of the world, where most ravines cut through. Look for ore veins in the walls, and use a water bucket to climb back out safely.
